Your Universal Co-ordinates Affect the way you live.

People who have been on both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres know that the water runs down a drain in counterclockwise direction south of the equator and clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere.
Hurricanes, tornadoes and other low-pressure storm centers in the Northern Hemisphere swirl in the counter-clockwise motion, but in the Southern Hemisphere this is reversed. Even smoke spirals upward in the opposite direction on each half of the Earth.
If seen from “above,” (North) the planets of the solar system appear to rotate counter-clockwise motion. From the southern side of the solar system (“below”), they would be seen to rotate in the opposite direction.
No civilization of any kind has ever originated in the Southern Hemisphere; people from the Northern Hemisphere founded every modern nation existing south of the equator today. This dominance of the north over the south manifests itself even among nations, states, and cities. Wherever a war or conflict has arisen, either civil or international, the northern nation-or northern part of that nation-emerges victorious or dominant.
Southern Ireland is one example; both before and after their American Civil War, the North dominated the South in this country, and it still does. Although Washington, D.C. is the nation’s Capital, New York is the financial center of this country (New York being farther north than Washington).
The United States traditionally dominates Mexico, while Mexico, in turn, dominates its neighbors to the south, except for those in the Southern Hemisphere where the situation seems to be reversed. For this reason, the European nation of South Africa will never be dominated or conquered by any other African nation. Canada, on the other hand, has not yet fully developed its potential. Yet this northern nation has always come out ahead of its dealings with the United States, a much more powerful and industrially developed land.
Canada therefore, is the land of the future, as are other nations in the northernmost climate.
Civilization moves westward on the terrestrial sphere, and dominance moves northward. If the borders of two nations occupy the same general latitudes, then the nations whose capital city is farther north will always be somewhat of its neighbor (or rival). Look at China’s dominance over India and her rivalry with Russia.
A lot more than severe weather conditions led to the defeat of both France’s and Germany’s great armies in their invasions of Russia. And why is it that the mighty Soviet Union could not defeat the little Finland in the late 1930′s?
During a Puja, we divide the universe into smaller and smaller units until we arrive at the specific address at which the Puja is being conducted. In this same way, the earth is divided and sectioned into tiny units, which become our house lot numbers. Just as each grain of rice that ends up on your plate at dinnertime had your name imprinted upon it from the time it was growing, through the time that it was harvested, hulled, bagged and shipped to finally end up in your neighborhood store for you to buy, in that same way, each plot of earth attracts a particular individual to its location. This attraction is karmic. Just as a number nine person gets a ‘chance’ to be born as a number nine, so too do certain plots of earth get a ‘chance’ to attain the lot number nine. There
is a ‘Cosmic Will’ that governs the allocation and each of us end up at that particular location with that particular lot number because of this Divine Will. Like the number nine individual who is confused about his identity and his relationship to God or to Yamaraj, so too is a number nine location ‘confused’ about its state of calmness or explosiveness. If the householder follows the satvic path and attains a high degree of spirituality, the location can be very calm and peaceful. Thus number nine locations are good for temples or other places of worship. On the
other hand, if the householder follows the rajasic and tamasic paths, the location will constantly erupt with fights and quarrels from the people who live there. The householder will face financial hardships, difficulty with children, problems with health and a general state of unhappiness with life. This outcome is much more common amongst householders in number nine locations because the number nine locations attract a particular person in order to allow them to experience the suffering and losses that they have to face. In other words, this is their payback for the karmic deeds they had committed some time before.
In this age of Kaliyuga, people are more prone to be materialistic and seem to be less devoted to God. Thus in many families, there is a preponderance of rajasic and tamasic behaviors and perhaps only small portions of satvic behavior. Once alcoholism, butchering of animals, drugs, violence, rudeness, arrogance, boastfulness, become predominant in a number nine location, the family begins to suffer. Job problems, business failures, financial losses, wayward children, sewer problems, house repairs, medical problems, and car accidents are some of the common distress symptoms that will begin to surface. All of this will happen amidst frequent quarrels in the home and life will continue in a state of constant tension and unhappiness. If this goes on for any extended period of time, the family will self-destruct and they will finally be forced to sell the property. Careful observation of the real estate market will reveal that a high percentage of number nine properties go on sale. Often times if the circumstances are known, it can be shown that the seller is in some form of distress.

CONSTRUCTION AND LAYOUT OF A HOUSE

Persons whose rising signs are Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio will do well to build a house facing east; those born under Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus will prosper in a house facing South; a house facing West will be found excellent by those whose rising signs are Aquarius, Gemini or Libra. Such a dwelling will bestow wealth on the occupants. Those whose rising signs are Sagittarius, Leo or Aries will flourish in every respect in a house facing north.
THE ENTRANCE
Divide the plot into nine sections; the fourth section from the left should form the main entrance to the house.
FOR A HOUSE FACING EAST
Divide the plot into eight sections. These respectively signify, in order, dissatisfaction, weakness, pecuniary gain, royal favor, enormous wealth, physical weakness, abundant happiness, deep grief, intimidation.
FOR A HOUSE FACING SOUTH
Divide the plot similarly into eight sections. These indicate danger to life, bondage, endearment, protection, gain of seeds, mental affliction, fear of disease, disability.
FOR A HOUSE FACING NORTH
The eight sections produce, in order, insult to wife, want of strength, harm, gain of seeds, monetary gain, increase of prosperity, acquisition of all fortune, disease. The construction of, and entry into, a house should not be
commenced when the wife of the owner is pregnant and when Jupiter and Venus are combust. If this rule is not observed, the issue will be disastrous to the wife. Laying the foundation stone, Ornamentation, Agricultural Work,
Education, Coronation–all these should be commenced under the Janma Nakshatra (one’s asterism at birth) or under the 10th asterism there from.
HOW TO KNOW YOUR HOUSE NUMBER
YOUR HOME IS RULED BY CERTAIN FORCES ACCORDING TO THE BLOCK AND LOT NUMBER AS WELL AS THE HOUSE NUMBER GIVEN. ALL THE FORCES THAT WERE PRESENT AT THE TIME WHEN THE FIRST FOUNDATION WAS LAID IS NOW INCORPORATED INTO THE HOUSE NUMBER….FOR EXAMPLE A HOUSE WITH BLOCK 28 LOT 12 WILL REFLECT THE NUMBER “4″ (2+8+1+2) OR THE ADDRESS OF THE HOME SUCH AS 83-34 WOULD REFLECT THE NUMBER 8+3+3+4 = 9
In this case the final number (9 above) is called a HARMONIC NUMBER
ONLY THE NUBER OF THE HOUSE IS IMPORTANT NOT THE STREET ADDRESS. IF THE ADRESS INCLUDE LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET THEN THOSE ARE CONSIDERED SECONDARY EFFECTS. FOR
EXAMPLE IF THE HOUSE ADRESSS IS 1435 John Smith Lane, then only the 1435 matters. Then this home would be 1+4+3+5 = 13 and converting to a Vedic number we add the 1+3 and that will give you a Vedic Harmonic number of #4. This Vedic Building Code is #4
IF THE NUMBER OF THE HOUSE OR APARTMENT CARRIES A LETTER WITH IT, THEN YOU HAVE TO ADD THE VALUE OF THAT LETTER FROM BELOW TO THE HARMONIC NUMBER SO AS TO GET THE FINAL RULING
NUMBER. LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING EXAMPLE…..
For a building addressed as 7902 the harmonic number is:
7+9+0+2
This will result in a Harmonic number of 18 or # 9
If the Apartment number is “C” then the ruling force is #3 or the number of the letter in the Alphabetical Scale:
If the apartment number is “5C” then the ruling force is:
5 + 3 = 17 = 1 + 7 = 8
This is known as VEDIC BUILDING CODE OF #8
Before proceeding to find out about your house number and building code number and so on. We need to look for your Life Code # or your Vedic Birth Code number that is used to interpret what kind of Karmas you came with in this life. This Code is very important as it will be used through out this book to determine you life patterns and experiences. In Chapter 1, I have started out with this as the first thing you should be aware of in your life. Suing this Code you will be able to follow with your Love Code and Marriage Codes which are going to be important in
deciding which home or location is successful for your love life etc. Your location will interact with most of the other Codes in your life but this book will cover only the basic information necessary for you to know where you will be more successful in life. Being in a proper location will avoid such things as foreclosures, job problems and divorces etc.

INTRODUCTION

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR HOME OR LOCATION WHERE YOU LIVE

If I place a crystal ball in your home and your married life improves, or hang a mirror in another corner and your income suddenly jumps, these are results. Just because modern science cannot explain why these things happen doesn’t mean that they don’t happen.
It is important to understand that there are forms and forces in the world, which cannot be seen, but they are there at work all the time. Centuries ago Hindu scholars and sages learned this by studying nature, asking how it works. This is what the Vedic knowledge talks about…. the patterns of life.
Then to help determine what to do to be in accord with universal harmonies, they also created a 108-sided wheel called the CHAKRA. When the CHAKRA was first invented, it linked all-important powers to directions like north as the direction of career, the southwest as the direction of marriage, the southeast as the direction of wealth, and so forth. Some say these factors may work outside, but for inside a room, what is more important is the “Head
of the Chakra,” which is the door. To understand the forces of the universe at work in a room, take the door as signifying the north on the chakra, regardless of what the actual direction may be. Then you can see the positions in the rest of the room or house according to the chakra. This is the pattern, which comes to us from the unseen world. I don’t know why. But I know it works.
The ancients have developed a method of POOJA or Ritual to make a place divine or safe. The ritual is highly technical and includes highly developed astronomical and astrological principles. You can use it to determine the forces affecting the location according to the location of the property. (Nine basic forces) and where to place them.
But to really cure the negativity a special Vedic ceremony is used. In this ceremony you walk through the house, visiting the eight points of the Chakra and the center in order which may be different in each home (eg. location forces for family togetherness, wealth, helpful people, Children, knowledge, fame, career, and marriage and more). At each place, you talk about what these things mean, and bless the place with prayers, gestures and thoughts also. This activates the KARMIC FORCES and drives away bad luck, allowing good KARMIC FORCES to come in.
The Hindu Astrologer or Brahmin Priest is able to sense the ACTIONS of a place, to see it, feel it, notice how it works on your body, and other ways. Then pay attention to the animals, the trees, the fish, etc. Usually there are more beneficial KARMIC FORCES, uplifting your spirits, at a sacred place.
This influences your mind, your body, and can make the spirit world and this world closer to each other.
The White House in Washington, D.C. is now situated at the end of 16th Street. This long arrow-like road rushes toward the White House, carrying far too much agitated “killing ACTIONS.” This does not help presidents to have peace of mind, and it also lends itself to creating national problems. Trees could be used to shield the White House from this negative KARMIC FORCE, but better strategies would be placing a large fountain outside, a weather vane on the roof to help direct negative KARMIC FORCES upwards, and mirrors inside which would help redirect this unwanted KARMIC FORCE back into the street. These are design solutions which would help, but the best thing of all would be for the leaders to pay attention to the spiritual dimensions of life, and practice wisdom based on transcendental states of mind.
